The collective name Bakker Sliedrecht comprises a goal-oriented and functional organisation fully geared for supplying innovative custom-made solutions. The organisation consists of two separate sister companies: Bakker Sliedrecht Electro Industrie B.V. and Bakker Repair B.V.
Bakker Sliedrecht Electro Industrie is made up of two divisions: Maritime & Industry, and (Semi-)Government. Their specialisms include e.g. electric drives and propulsions, power generation, advanced control systems and automation.
Bakker Repair has specialised in electrotechnical and mechanical maintenance, repair and overhaul of maritime and industrial rotating machines. The goal-oriented and functional character at corporate level is reflected in the internal organisation.
The foundations for Bakker Sliedrecht were laid in 1919. Many years have elapsed, seeing a former local pipefitter become today’s innovative electrotechnical enterprise operating on a global scale. Much has changed since then. What has remained, however, is the constant strive for stability. We do not believe in short-term profits, but we do believe in continually building on stable success.
A broad profile in the market as well as our dynamic approach to new developments are key concepts in this respect.
