Repair / overhaul
The Bakker Repair service package includes all necessary repair and overhaul work on mobile and stationary equipment, such as direct-current and three-phase motors, generators and transformers, both low-voltage and high-voltage. Mechanical components like axles are also part of our work. A major Bakker Repair expertise is the overhaul and winding of rotating electric machines, but you can also visit us for the renewal of tin packages, metal spraying, collector and slip ring repair, grouting, alignment, balancing and on-site diagnostics. If so required we also do turnkey overhauls, including transport from ship or factory to our workshop, followed by the repositioning, testing and start-up of overhauled machines. Fishing ships stand to benefit from our temporary generator and motor hiring service. This will help to limit the time lost due to a forced shut-down.
