Bakker Sliedrecht has been ordered to upgrade the obsolete inverter units of both the cutter and the winches on board of NMDC’s cutter dredger Umm al Anbar in Abu Dhabi.

Bakker Sliedrecht has been ordered to upgrade the obsolete inverter units of both the cutter and the winches on board of NMDC’s cutterdredger ‘Umm al Anbar’ in Abu Dhabi. A team of experienced engineers will use their knowledge on dredging projects in the design of the new inverters in such a fashion the units fit into the existing installation. Because of this custom approach NMDC does not have to invest in the replacement of a entirely new drive system for the cutter and winches, while benefiting from the advantages of new available technology. A team of Service Engineers from Bakker Sliedrecht will install and commission the renewed inverters on board the cutterdredger in Abu Dhabi.
