A new generation of water-cooled frequency converters

Bakker Sliedrecht developed a new generation of compact water-cooled frequency converters. At the Elektrotechniek 2007 exhibition you can see for yourself.

The modular layout allows any required configuration in a short time. The use of this new technology has many advantages:

  • Highly compact
  • Customer-specific design
  • High availability through built-in redundancy
  • Low-noise application
  • Quick connector concept
  • High-power brake chopper: up to 1,300 kW in a single module
  • Maintenance-friendly water-cooling through synthetic piping

Range:

  • Air-cooled 1.5-5,600 kW; 230-690 V
  • Water-cooled 55-5,600 kW; 230-690 V
  • Diode rectifier 6, 12, 18 and 24 pulse or active input bridge (AFE)

High-voltage drives up to 25 MW and 6,6 kV
