Innovative drive technology
Thursday 28 January 2010 12:00 A new generation of water-cooled frequency converters
Bakker Sliedrecht developed a new generation of compact water-cooled frequency converters. At the Elektrotechniek 2007 exhibition you can see for yourself.
The modular layout allows any required configuration in a short time. The use of this new technology has many advantages:
- Highly compact
- Customer-specific design
- High availability through built-in redundancy
- Low-noise application
- Quick connector concept
- High-power brake chopper: up to 1,300 kW in a single module
- Maintenance-friendly water-cooling through synthetic piping
Range:
- Air-cooled 1.5-5,600 kW; 230-690 V
- Water-cooled 55-5,600 kW; 230-690 V
- Diode rectifier 6, 12, 18 and 24 pulse or active input bridge (AFE)
High-voltage drives up to 25 MW and 6,6 kV
