Bakker Sliedrecht delivered four mobile 72,5 kV GIS- station installations to Stedin and Alliander by order of Alstom. These installations can be mobilized during a calamity in order to safeguard the continuity of the power grid.

Stedin is responsible for safe and reliable transport of electricity and gas to 2 million customers in Holland. Alliander is responsible for maintaining and renewing the power grid that delivers electricity and gas to 3.3 million customers in the Netherlands.

Bakker Sliedrecht designed and delivered 4 mobile switchgear installations that fit in mobile containers. We incorporated the Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) from Alstom in this design. The containers are mounted on a steal frame in order to connect the high voltage cables properly.

All four mobile 72,5 kV GIS- station installations are delivered to Stedin and Alliander to satisfaction of Alstom.
