Bakker Sliedrecht responsible for electrical installations of new super 1A ice class LNG tanker for Anthony Veder

Bakker Sliedrecht obtained the order from Neptun Werft in Rostock to take care of all electrical installations of a new LNG tanker with a LNG loading capacity of 18000 m³. Bakker Sliedrecht will engineer, install and commission all electrical installations of the tanker, with an exception for the gas installations.

Our experience with explosion safety and our great reputation regarding quality played a key role in acquiring the order. Furthermore our solid project management, our commitment to safety and our worldwide service support were taken into account when placing the order.

The scope for Bakker Sliedrecht contains amongst other things the main low voltage switchboards, navigation and communication systems and a BIMAC alarm and monitoring system including power management, ballast control and tank monitoring.

The tanker is scheduled for delivery to Anthony Veder by the end of 2017.
