We are proud to announce that Bakker Sliedrecht has obtained the order for the complete electrical installation on board the new Van Oord Subsea rock installation vessel, including the fall pipe deployment control system. The purpose of the fall pipe deployment tower is to store, handle, deploy and retrieve the fall pipe that is used for accuratie rock dumping operations on the seabed.
The Bravenes is the new DP 3 subsea rock installation vessel vessel of Van Oord Marine contractors that is being build at Zheijan Shipyards in Ningbo, China. Zheijan Shipyards i ds part of the Sinopacific Shipbuilding Group. This interesting project is a great opportunity for Bakker Sliedrecht to showcase knowledge and skills.
